Welcome to Heart of the Wye
Situated just a couple of miles from the charming town of Hay on Wye and a short drive from the Brecon Beacons National Park, Heart of the Wye offers a unique glamping experience in a beautiful and convenient rural location.
With 5 comfortable and stylish Nomadic Yurt tents, it is the perfect spot to relax, unwind and recharge. Whether you come with family, friends or for a romantic retreat, to walk, cycle, canoe, or to read a book by a campfire as the sun sets, there is something special for everyone.
This is our second season and we are excited to welcome you to enjoy this little slice of paradise that captured our hearts. We instantly fell in love with the views, site, local people and villages. There are many ways to enjoy cooking and eating at the campsite. Including firepits, a kitchen area and even an onsite gourmet restaurant.
Each tent come with its own fire pit for cooking on, relaxing and warming up near or telling stories around.
Hot showers are a luxury we couldn't do with out! At Heart of the Wye, we have 2 shower huts set in the picturesque orchard, plus one family sized shower and washroom up by the kitchen building.
Although our tents are off-grid, fear not! Each tent comes equipped with a battery for lighting and charging. There are also additional charging points in the kitchen.
Loos with a view!
The toilets facilities at the campsite are certainly unique. Not just your standard composting toilets, our state of the art loos integrate waterless flush technology, sealing waste away, and turning it back into energy.
There is onsite parking for up to 2 cars per tent. Parking is accessed via a private track and is situated in the field next to the camping field. The longest walk from car to tent is less than 100m.
